My wife and I just took a trip to Sedona and this bag was perfect for all the day hikes we went on. I love all the room in the front pocket for valuables and the main bag will hold everything needed including lunch and room to put extra clothing. Also the pocket that is on top of the flap covering the bag is a great touch to access whatever you need on the airplane from under the seat in front of you. The little added touches of pockets in the waist strap and the security latch for your water bottle are great for keeping everything secure but easy access when needed.

This pack fits really comfortably. Nice hip belt with large pockets. However… on my hike yesterday I got surprised by a very brief rain shower. The inside of the pack was completely wet, all my spare clothes were wet. Maybe I'm wrong to expect a minimal water repellency from a new pack, and now at least I know to either only use this pack if it's 100% dry out, or try to find a rain cover for it…but a disappointing surprise!!

This bag is great for day trips and other outdoor activities. You can easy fit whatever you need inside and it's not too bulky. Straps are adjustable and can be tailored to any height even though it is a bigger bag it fits well.
