The well-loved Minion DHF inspired an upgrade, and Maxxis jumped on the wide tire bandwagon to offer up the Minion DHR II Wide Trail. It's constructed to improve acceleration and, with its increased width, provide additional support. But, that's not all that improves the speed and nimble handling we've come to expect from Maxxis tires. Ramped and siped tread rolls fast and digs in under braking, along with strategically placed knobs that decorate the center tread. Cornering, thankfully, becomes a breeze and that added traction inspires confidence on our rides. Further grip comes from running tubeless tires at a lower pressure so we can ride loose surfaces and rainy days without issue. Maxxis' EXO casing guards against punctures and potholes and Dual Compund rubber keeps faster roller in straight lines with less resistance, increasing control while we're riding trails or downhill laps.
