I got the white, which seems like a mistake but it's somehow remained clean after a few very dusty hikes and even me falling in the water while standup paddle boarding (water just beads off). The dark underside and the white outside plus lightweight material makes this the most cooling and comfortable hat I've ever owned. While it is sort of a bucket hat style, the big brim (reinforced with foam so it doesn't lose its shape, and also supposedly floats in water) and the rounded more fitted area over the head makes this more feminine and flattering on women. The size chart is accurate - at 22" around I got a medium which is perfect. If in doubt, go larger because there are bungees around the head to adjust the size tighter (also helpful when windy). I don't really consider myself a hat person, but this has been my favorite accessory while in Oregon the past month during the heatwave when temps went over 100 degrees, and I've had so many compliments

I got the hat at an incredibly ridiculously low price but it was too large and I felt like that the amount of money that it would cost to send it back would be about half of what I paid for it. They did not have any smaller sizes so I guess I will end up giving it to someone.
