All of Berry's Preferred Plated bullets are swaged from a custom alloyed lead for uniformity, then plated to final weight and put back in a carbide die to be Re-Struck to the preferred dimension.

Berry's recommends using hard cast load data or starting with mid-range jacketed data. Keep in mind that since the plated bullet has the same pressure curve as a hard cast bullet, the published cast data will be very close to what you will get with the plated bullets. If you use Jacketed data with plated bullets you can get from a 5% - 8% increase in velocity using that data. The maximum recommended speed is 1500 FPS.
