The black steel safe features heavy-duty 16 gauge steel construction and a dual lug locking system comprised of 2 robust 1/4" steel locking lugs. It meets or exceeds all requirements outlined by the ASTM international F2456 04 standards for Youth Resistant Firearms Containers. Each Hornaday Safe offers several means of access, including a conventional key lock, a unique and easy to remember user-programmed 4-digit code and an electronic touch pad that can be adjusted for either right or left-handed use. The safe comes with an RFID bracelet, key and card. Once unlocked, the safe springs open to reveal your handgun that's cradled in the ready position. There's plenty of space for extra ammunition.
