Inspired by one of the world's ultimate powder and groomer destinations, the K2 Niseko Pleasures takes its name from the Niseko region of Hokkaido, Japan. Tweaked, and tested, and-and-approved, by long-time K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Yo Amagai, K2 tapped into the locals' knowledge to develop the best possible tool for riding powder and groomers.

  • Bambooyah Core: Sustainably harvested bamboo, aspen, and paulownia combine to deliver a damp and responsive feel. K2's Bambooyah cores are backed by a 5-year warranty against breakage.
  • Biax Glass: A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90 angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.
  • Carbon Infused 5500 Sintered Base: The hardest, fastest, and the most wax-absorbing base K2 makes, the 5500 Sintered Material gets carbon additives that reduce friction and glides smoother.
  • Hybridtech Construction: Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech is the lightest weight, most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess sidewall material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass and decrease the swing weight of the board is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary. Their boards will spin faster, maneuver easier, and last longer than any other boards on the market.
  • Snophobic? Topsheet: Helps eliminate snow build up while touring up and riding down.
  • Volume Shift: K2 reduced swing weight and toe/heel drag by shifting surface area from the tip and tail to the waist of the snowboard. Downsize from 4-10 cm from your usual snowboard length.
