If your measurements are between sizes, select a larger size for a looser fit or a smaller size for a tighter fit.
Try your boots on with the socks you intend to wear in the field.
Try them on later in the day since feet are prone to swell slightly as a day progresses.
Wear them only indoors until you are confident about the fit.
Your foot should feel snug (not tight) from the arch back into the heel pocket with just a minimum lift as you walk. If your heel lifts make sure the lacing is snug and not too loose.
If your toes or sides of your feet feel squished, most likely the width is too narrow.
If your toes touch the front of the boot, most likely it is too short and you need the next half size up.
Retain all original packaging which came with the boots until you are sure that you are happy with your purchase.
With a mesh-constructed upper, the TX3 Women's approach shoe is designed for breathability and comfort over rough terrain. The "climbing zone" toe, featuring Vibram Mega-Grip Traverse rubber, coupled with the burly Trail Bite Heel Platform provides maximum grip in scree and mud.

Couldn't get from local store this shoe, was not on line, so I called corporate. They checked and said they could get someone to put it on line. I called later that day and was able to purchase shoe and have it delivered. You were so great to help on my issue. Enjoyed working with two corporate people. Thanks again!

I made it through one season of non stops hiking & scrambling at red rock canyon In Nevada. This shoe has took it well- I've changed the insoles only & they still have tread & have not torn. All other shoes I've had out here either get cut on the rock or tear from the cactus. Cool shoe -great approach shoe in hot weather.

I own these in two sizes -one for short day hikes and one size up for long hikes and thru hikes. They are light, super sticky, and fit my long narrow (but not n width) feet perfectly. My only complaint is that I need a US W11 for thru-hiking and they are rarely in stock. I don't mind that the sticky soles mean that I need to replace them quickly because they work so well for me -even when carrying a heavier pack on a hike like the JMT. I will be extremely sad if these are ever discontinued and my local gear shop knows to hold any size 11 shoes they get in for me because they are as rare as hens teeth it seems. I've been lucky to get my hands on three pairs so far and my fingers are crossed that they will be in stock again since my summer adventures on granite have really worn down the tread on my current pair. The only time I had any issues with their durability was with the laces getting damaged easily on some rocks once -and those have also been out of stock for years it seems.
