ATACR 1-8x24

The ATACR 1-8x24 riflescope is designed and built to be the ultimate low-power variable riflescope. It includes pristine ED glass, bright daylight illumination, an intelligent reticle, very low-profile adjustments and bomb-proof reliability, with a field of view at 1x equivalent to open sights…but vastly more precise.

It measures just over 10 inches in length and weighs 21 ounces, with a streamlined profile. The daylight visible, center red dot allows for rapid engagements like a red-dot sight.

Unlike a red-dot, however, the 1-8x provides up to 8x zoom to help locate, identify and engage targets at the maximum effective range of most rifles. The intelligent FC-DM first focal plane reticle provides precise hold and hold-off points. The low-profile turrets are capped to prevent accidental adjustment and offer true .1 Mil-Radian adjustment. To aid in fast magnification adjustments, an integrated Power Throw Lever (PTL) is included.

Reticles

• MOAR F1: The MOAR™ F1 reticle features 1 MOA elevation and windage markings for accurate range finding and hold-offs. A floating center crosshair and bold 3, 6 and 9 o'clock posts make this reticle fast and easy to use in the field.
• FC-DMx: Nightforce has maintained the daylight bright illumination that allows for use in any conditions at 1x or high magnification. The FC-DMx segmented circle has been increased in diameter from 2MRAD to 4MRAD and made thinner to maintain the same illuminated area. This open center area allows the user a clear view of the target to make fast, unobstructed shoot/no-shoot decisions. The 0.2MRAD (0.7MOA) center dot provides a precise aiming point when at high magnification. A 1MRAD resolution aiming grid allows for simultaneous holds (elevation and wind) to 10MRAD of elevation. The line labels are placed on both the left and right for fast acquisition and are located to the outside for a clear view of the target within the grid. The unobstructed view of the target, daylight visible illumination, and intuitive labeling of the FC-DMx provide the user with increased capability for both close and far targets.
