Description

The Patagonia 55L Ascensionist Pack is built to meet the intense demands of alpine pursuits using lightweight yet durable recycled materials, webbing, and a TPU finish. The body fabric, hip belt, and shoulder straps feature a durable water-repellent coating that sheds moisture without the use of intentionally added PFAS. Designed for flexibility, the pack includes a removable waistbelt, waistbelt padding, and frame to adapt to varying load needs, while a glove-friendly top-cinch closure ensures quick access. Multiple lash points across the face, sides, and top provide room to secure additional items, with side compression straps for extra gear or to compress the pack when partially filled. A full-sized top pocket remains functional even when fully packed, and modern, field-repairable ice-tool carry straps offer secure attachment options.
