The 2026 Petzl Gully Ice Axe is designed for the technical climber, offering unparalleled precision and control during icy ascents. Its ultra-light construction reduces fatigue, while the banana-shaped tapered pick penetrates ice with minimal effort. The steel head ensures reliable placement and secure anchoring, and the minimalist adze can clear holds or reset protection efficiently. The tool even features an integrated hammer for piton placement and a tool-free adjustable handrest for instant grip adaptation. Optional weights enhance bite in extremely cold ice, and its compact length enables easy carrying without snagging gear.
