The Salomon Sight Snowboard adds some freeride flavor to your all mountain adventures with a tapered directional shape, a medium flex, and a go-anywhere, do-anything attitude. It has a poppy, energetic core profile, and Royal Cork Pads to dampen vibration as you pick up speed. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider, this board will help you expand your horizons.

Features

  • Base: Medium Stone Finish - A medium structure finish that improves base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush. Extruded EG - A harder compound than EXT, Salomon EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics.
  • Binding Compatibility: 2 x 4 Insert Pattern
  • Core: Aspen Strong Core - CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush. Popster - Popster's shaped core profile is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
  • Edges: All-Mountain Edge Bevel - A 1 edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2 bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.
  • Flex: Flex Rating - 2.5 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff)
  • Laminates: Biaxial Low Density Fiberglass - Low-density fibers allow for lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever.
  • Rocker Type: Cross Profile - Camber between the feet for better control, pop and landing stability. Rocker on tip and tail for effortless flotation forward and switch.
  • Shape: Tapered Directional - Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack. Quadratic Sidecut - Quadratic sidecuts use 3 or more radii instead of a continuous radial sidecut. The radii of the sidecut is shallower at the ends and deeper in the middle, which promotes easier turn initiation.
  • Sidewalls: Royal Cork Pads - Cork pads are strategically placed into the sidewall to provide eco-friendly dampening.
