The Shimano RD-TY500 SGS Rear Derailleur incorporates advanced Shimano functions and styling that sets the standard for entry level components. This derailleur is rear direct mount for 6 or 7 speed drivetrains. It has long cage length with a 43 tooth chain wrap capacity. This derailleur has zinc plated corrosion resistant screws and comes with resin bracket and plate for reduced weight. It's also MegaRange compatible.
