Only certain bicycles are eligible for shipping. The product listing will specifically indicate if a bike can be shipped. If there's no mention of shipping availability in the product description, that means the bike cannot be shipped.

Professional Assembly

Al’s Sporting Goods strongly advises and requires, for your safety and warranty purposes, that any bicycle purchased from us be professionally assembled by a certified bike technician working at a reputable bike shop. Failure to comply with this assembly requirement may result in the warranty on the purchased bicycle being rendered null and void, as governed by these Terms.


To safeguard your warranty rights and maximize protection, it is imperative that the purchased bicycle be assembled and serviced exclusively by a certified bike technician working at a reputable bike shop. Assembly performed by a qualified professional in adherence to industry standards significantly reduces the risk of safety hazards and enhances the bicycle’s performance. Al’s Sporting Goods shall not be liable for any warranty claims arising from improper assembly performed by unauthorized personnel.

Bicycle Shipment and Pickup

Bicycles purchased and picked up directly from Al’s Sporting Goods will be assembled by our team of certified bike technicians before pickup. We currently offer shipment of purchased bicycles to locations within the lower 48 states of the United States. For bicycles shipped to your designated location, it is strongly advised and in your best interest to have them assembled by a certified bike technician working at a reputable bike shop. Failure to arrange for professional assembly by a certified bike technician may render the warranty on your purchased bicycle null and void. Please be advised that expedited shipping options are not currently available.

Build Fee

In the event that you would like Al’s Sporting Goods to build a bike that was previously shipped to you, an additional build fee shall be applied. The specific amount of this fee shall be communicated to the customer at the time of the request and is subject to our current shop rates and policies.

Receipt Requirement

You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to retain and preserve the purchase receipt, as well as the receipt or shop ticket from the reputable bike shop where the assembly was performed by a certified bike technician. These documents, serving as proof of authorized assembly, may be necessary to process warranty claims or address any customer service-related inquiries. Failure to retain and provide these documents upon request may limit our ability to provide warranty coverage or assistance.

Warranty Claims

To initiate any warranty claims subsequent to the shipment and assembly of the bicycle by a third party, you must furnish a copy of the receipt or shop ticket from the reputable bike shop where the assembly was performed by a certified bike technician. The failure to provide these documents, as required by these Terms, may impede our ability to process and address the warranty claim effectively.

Recommendations for Assembly

In the interest of your safety and optimal bicycle performance and to retain your warranty coverage, we strongly recommend adhering to the following assembly guidelines: Locate a reputable bike shop employing certified bike technicians. Schedule an appointment with the selected bike shop, providing them with advanced notice regarding the make and model of your bicycle. Entrust the assembly, adjustment, and inspection of your bicycle to the certified bike technician at the bike shop, ensuring the attainment of perfect working order. Non-compliance with these recommendations may result in the warranty being rendered null and void, thereby exposing you to potential safety hazards or suboptimal performance. Al’s shall not be held responsible for any liabilities arising from your failure to follow these assembly recommendations.

Sales Policy and Returns

  1. All Sales Are Final: All bike sales made through our website are final. Once a purchase is made, it cannot be refunded, exchanged, or returned under normal circumstances.
  2. Damaged or Defective Products: Despite our 'All Sales Are Final' policy, we stand behind the quality of our products. If your product arrives damaged or defective due to shipping or a manufacturing fault, please contact us immediately. We will take necessary actions to rectify the situation.
  3. Claim for Damaged or Defective Products: To make a claim for a damaged or defective product, you must notify us within a specified period (for example, 14 days) from the date of delivery. You are required to provide a detailed description of the damage/defect, along with photographic evidence and proof of assembly if necessary.
  4. Claim Assessment: Upon receiving your claim, our team will assess the condition of the product. If your claim is approved, we will initiate appropriate actions to address the issue.
  5. Delivery of Replacement or Repaired Products: We will cover the shipping costs for delivering the repaired or replacement product to you. However, the time it takes for the replaced or repaired product to reach you may vary.
