The all-new SIC Darkhorse is stepping up your game with its Vortex™ construction, fusing the highest quality soft board technology with composite stringers and core materials to create a fun yet high-performance board. The Dark Horse has a 100% waterproof EPS core, the bottom and top skin are reinforced with high quality Vectra Ply polyethylene to aid in speed, stiffness and durability. The rails are a high density EVA to increase durability while remaining comfortable on your arms when paddling. A key differentiating factor and main performance feature is the Dullies™ (double wooden stringers). This gives the board a unique rigidity without sacrificing its lively, pop vibe.

FEATURES

• Vortex™ Construction features a foam core with solid wood molded inside the EPS core and capped on the top and bottom creating a I-Beam for maximum stiffness, strength and pop. The EPS core is wrapped in 6oz glass and is sealed within a Vectra Net PE skin with XPE foam backing and the rails are finished in a brushed EVA rail casing. The fin boxes and inserts are impregnated with closed-cell polyurethane foam for maximum friction resistance to contain any water infiltration.
