VANS OLD SKOOL TAPERED VR3 SHOE

The Vans Old Skool Tapered VR3 Shoes are a deconstructed version of Vans' iconic sidestripe shoe. They feature a more slender and fitted silhouette than the traditional Old Skool. This classic low-top style also comes equipped with signature rubber waffle outsoles. In order to reduce the overall footprint of Vans, their team has set ambitious sustainability goals. In keeping with this, the Old Skool Tapered VR3 midsole is made using at least 25% biobased EVA foam, partially derived from plant-based sources. Big or small, all of Vans' efforts add up to positive change. VR3 is the Vans commitment to sourcing 100% of their top 4 CO2 impact materials (cotton, leather, rubber and polyester) from Regenerative, Responsibly Sourced Renewable, and/or Recycled sources by 2030.  

TECH SPECS

• UPPER MATERIAL: Made with Suede and 100% Organic Cotton Canvas. Vans leather products support responsible manufacturing via the Leather Working Group.
• FOOTBED: The new VR3Cush footbed is made using at least 25% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plants per the ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
• OUTSOLE: The VR3Waffle outsole is made with a proprietary compound containing at least 25% responsibly sourced natural rubber obtained from sources that follow proven sustainable practices with the intention of reducing impacts on the planet. This natural rubber compound was developed and engineered to maintain the grip and durability Vans is known for (since 66).
