The Volkl Secret stormed onto the women's ski scene three years ago with a best-in-class blend of high-powered all-mountain performance and smooth skiability. Volkl blazed ahead, adding a wider sister to their line two years ago and never looked back. For 2022, the Secret 102 gets a fresh paint job but no structural updates. The sister to the Men's Mantra 102, The Secret is built for big mountain lady-rippers, crushing anything in its path, yet nimble enough for tree alleys and powder stashes too. Built with Titanal Frame technology and a 3D radius sidecut, which allows the skis to make any turn shape with ease, these skis are made to be pushed by aggressive skiers. For ex-racers turned big-mountain freeriders, it's a worthy tool. But as with its narrower soul sister, the Secret 102 gives rapidly advancing intermediate skiers a ski to grow into.
