The Patagonia Foot Tractor Aluminum Bar Wading Boot is a heavy-duty boot for protection and support while wading. The durable, waterproof, full-grain leather resists breakdown even in salt water and can be reconditioned for extended life. Built with tough, 1,000-denier nylon paneling for excellent abrasion resistance, these boots include a lacing system with eyelets across the forefoot, speed lacing through the ankle, and a single top hook for easy on and off, all with nylon-coated hardware to resist corrosion. Perforated drains on both sides of the upper boot help clear water quickly, and the upper design avoids unnecessary foams and backers for faster drying. Stitchdown construction offers a wider platform for added stability, protects the sidewalls, and enables resoling by Danner. A molded bi-fit board integrates the shank, lasting board, and midsole into one lightweight unit, maintaining support and comfort. The Vibram Idrogrip sole is optimized for grip on wet surfaces, while the aluminum bars provide traction by cutting through slime and adapting to the shape of rocks.
