The BD.dry 3L stretch nylon fabric is waterproof and breathable, and has also been treated with a durable water repellent finish to help shed light moisture before having the chance to soak in. The removable powder skirt provides versatility, allowing for shedding a little weight and bulk on front-country days, while keeping snow out during deep powder ones. There are plenty of pockets for skins, extra gloves, and whatever else you need quick access to, plus a RECCO reflector for searchability in avalanche situations.
