Down is warmer, lighter and more compressible for its weight than other insulating fiber so, for core warmth, this vest is insulated with 600-fill-power Traceable Down (duck down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked). With a full-zip front, a zipper garage to eliminate chin chafe, a wind flap, zippered handwarmer pockets with reflective zipper pulls, spandex binding around armholes; elasticized back hem and a hand-me-down ID label.
